Hand Gesture Music Controller - Control music with your hand movements

How It Works

  1. Enable Your Webcam: Click the "Enable Webcam" button to start hand gesture detection.
  2. Map Gestures to Sounds:
    • Select which hand you want to use (Left or Right)
    • Choose a gesture from the dropdown menu
    • Select the musical note you want to play
    • Click "Add Mapping" to save your selection
  3. Hand Position Controls Octave:
    • Move your hand up and down to change the octave of the notes
    • Higher hand position plays higher octaves
    • Lower hand position plays lower octaves
    • For certain chords (F, G, A, B), the highest note automatically plays in the next octave
  4. Make Music: Once mapped, perform the gestures in front of your camera to play the corresponding notes!
  5. Quick Start: Click "Add Default Chord Settings" to load a preset configuration and start playing immediately.
